I started Blythe Photo Co. in 2017 with a mission to bring brands to life through bold, on-brand imagery. After six years of helping businesses show up with joy, personality and confidence, I realized that this same approach is perfect for families, couples, and individuals too!
So I created Idlewild by Blythe Photo Co. — a space where I can bring all that I learned about helping brands shine to every type of photo session!
These aren’t your typical stiff, “stand still and say cheese” portraits. These are joyful, personality filled, genuinely you, captured moments! Laughing, playing, snuggling, dancing, being silly, or soaking in the sweet everyday moments. I aim to create a fun experience that feels nothing like a photo shoot and everything like a fun outing.
The result? Beautiful, personality-packed photos bursting with real connection and joy — the kind you’ll actually want to hang on your walls, frame on your shelves, and smile at every single day.

My approach
I do things a little differently than most. I try to make sure that every photoshoot is as unique as the people I'm shooting! So I ask questions, create a visual, hop on a quick call with you and confirm that I have your vision! You'll get a questionnaire that lets me know more about you. With those answers I'll create a shoot guide, from there we'll get on a quick planning call to make sure that we are on the same page and ready to create a unique, joyful, personality filled shoot that is everything you want it to be!
